A high-energy, engaging resuscitation training session built specifically for teens. Learn chest compressions, rescue breathing, choking relief for all age groups (adults, children, and infants), and how to safely use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

Important Certification Note:This course covers CPR and AED skills only. If you need general First Aid (such as minor wound care, bleeding control, or bone/joint injury management), choose Youth Emergency First Aid instead.

This course is designed for teens and young adults (ages 12 to 17) who want to learn life-saving resuscitation skills, prepare for babysitting/camp roles, or satisfy basic high school or community volunteer requirements.

What you will learn

Developed by the Canadian Red Cross, this 4-hour course covers all primary aspects of CPR and AED rescue techniques for adults, children, and infants.

Chest Compressions & Rescue Breaths

Understanding the correct depth, rate, and ratio for CPR on adults, children, and infants.

Choking Relief Protocols

How to clear mild and severe airway obstructions for conscious and unconscious victims of all ages.

Defibrillator (AED) Operations

Hands-on practice applying pads, following voice prompts, and delivering safe shocks with training units.

Circulatory & Airway Support

Recognizing early signs of heart attacks, stroke, and breathing distress in clinical or home settings.
