What you will learn

Learn to handle injuries and medical emergencies under the unique constraints of a vessel at sea.

Understanding the physiological effects of immersion, cold shock, and staging rewarming protocols.

Coordinating with search & rescue, preparing patients for hoist or vessel-to-vessel transfers.

Specialized response to drowning victims, rescue breathing, and oxygen therapy introduction.

Step 1 — At Home

Online Theory (8 hours)

Complete approximately 8 hours of marine-focused online theory at home. Learn the core safety concepts at your own pace before coming to class.

Hands-on Practice

Join us in Kentville for 1 full day of active boat-simulator and hands-on drills. Practice cold-water wraps, vessel evacuations, and CPR in a realistic setting.
