What’s the difference between Basic (Emergency) and Intermediate (Standard) First Aid?
Emergency First Aid is a one-day course covering essential lifesaving skills for common emergencies. Standard First Aid is a two-day, more comprehensive program that includes additional topics such as injury management, medical conditions, and environmental emergencies. Your choice should match your workplace requirements or personal learning goals.
Most Standard/Intermediate First Aid certifications are valid for 3 years. BLS certifications are typically 1 year. Always follow your employer’s requirements.
