This is a single, one-day course, delivered fully in-person. The day starts at 9:00 AM and includes 7 hours of teaching time plus breaks. The course includes group activities and realistic scenarios to maximize learning.
The single-day duration ensures minimal impact on your teen's schedule while delivering the full course content.

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive:
A BraveHeart Youth First Aid Certificate of Completion (Proof of attendance).
A 3-year Canadian Red Cross Basic First Aid & CPR C certification.
Practical first aid and CPR skills they can use immediately at home, school, or in the community.

All participants receive a certificate of participation from BraveHeart. Those who successfully demonstrate the required First Aid skills and meet all the Canadian Red Cross standards will earn a 3-year, nationally recognized Basic First Aid Certificate. This official Red Cross certification will be issued electronically after the course.

Doors open at 8:45 a.m. and the course begins at 9:00 a.m. sharp. Training runs for about 7 hours, including breaks and lunch.

Our instructors are patient and flexible. If your teen has a learning need, physical limitation, or anxiety about participation, let us know ahead of time or arrive a few minutes early so we can make adjustments.
